The five year plan that you are about to read is currently expired by
date. The Walleye Program is still currently working under this plan. The
Vermont Walleye Committee is currently working to complete the new plan.
We are all hoping that the new plan will be available for public comment
in the next few months. This plan represents a great effort by LCWA
and Vermont Fish & Wildlife. Although it is not everything that LCWA was
hoping to get it was a great step forward in the Walleye Program. Many
great strides have been accomplished since the adoption of this plan. We
are hoping to keep the momentum strong during the completion of the new
management plan.
